Nursing training in the design of professors and managers of health services

Abstract

Objective: understand whether the nursing training corresponds to the social needs of health, under the gaze of professors and managers of health services. Method: study of qualitative, descriptive and exploratory approach. Results: six interviews with professors of nursing courses of two public universities and six interviews with professors of two private universities were carried out. Six interviews with managers of nursing services of six hospitals and six interviews with nurses-managers from basic care units were also carried out. Final considerations: the study shows that professors, responsible for training, as well as managers of health services, although observing some fragilities, understand that is consistent with health needs.
