Objective: the present study sought to understand the perceptions and implications of hearing voices in the daily lives of subjects diagnosed with schizophrenia at Psychosocial Care Center I, in the view of family members and staff. Method: intervention research was used as a way to bring the elements of the learning process of the team, family and users. Results and Discussions: it sought to discuss the resinification of “hearing voices”, in the perspective of thinking about this phenomenon beyond the pathologization of the subjects. Final considerations: the study points out the path and the learning about the construction of new forms of care for users who hear voices other than that of traditional psychiatry.
