Objective: to determine the epidemiological profile of yellow fever in Brazil from 2015 to 2020, in addition to correlating the incidence of cases with vaccination coverage. Method: this is an ecological study, with a descriptive, retrospective design and a quantitative approach, carried out through analysis of data collected in the National System of Notifiable Diseases (SINAN), in the National Immunization Program (PNI) and by the database of data sent to the author's email. Results: 2,302 cases were confirmed, with the Southeast region having the highest number (1,312). Males were the most prevalent (81.54%), the age group most affected was between 40 and 59 years (44.70%) and 33.71% of those infected died. The average vaccination coverage was 59.92%. Conclusion: there is an increase in the incidence of yellow fever in Brazil in the period, which represents a public health problem, and it is necessary to expand vaccination coverage.
