Results: 388 cases of malignant gallbladder neoplasia were confirmed during the study period. The highest prevalence occurred in females (71.9%), among individuals aged between 65 and 74 years (33.3%). The most prevalent macro-region was the Metropolitan (44.6%). The most prevalent stage of diagnosis was stage 4 (39.8%). Conclusion: the data demonstrate a progressive increase in the incidence rate during the analyzed period, as well as a profile of the occurrence of the disease in females, between the sixth and seventh decades of life and diagnosis at an advanced stage.
